toomuchsumo awesome EP all around. originally released in 1981, this was way ahead of it's time. Factory Forehead was the track that introduced me to C.C.I.S.
raw proto-techno. play it loud! Favorite track: Factory Forehead.

Art Fin Minimalist and raw synth-punk with deadpan vocals circa 1979 that reminds me of "Warm Leatherette". Favorite track: Cardboard Lamb.
Source Invisible

Source Invisible Just brilliant and raw O.G. synth wave all the way. Makes me a bit nostalgic for the days when I was in a weird art school electronic band :) Favorite track: Cardboard Lamb.

about

Crash Course In Science are a post punk band formed in 1979 in Philadelphia. They avoided the sounds of conventional instrumentation by using toy instruments and kitchen appliances to augment the distorted guitar, drums and synthesized beats. Championed by local radio station WXPN DJ Lee Paris they recorded the single "Cakes In The Home" (with the B-side containing "Kitchen Motors" and "Mechanical Breakdown") for his Go Go label. This was followed by "Signals From Pier Thirteen" in 1981 produced by John Wicks at Third Story Recordings.
